Orb Capabilities





Orbs! The closest thing to a PC you'll ever touch as long as you're here... and definitely more useful. They have many capabilities beyond just a normal communication device - they're capable of storing magic, after all!

The main uses are the ones your characters will use most, of course. They can record and send sound and pictures between other orbs, but they're incapable of text. For their "view" function, the surface of the green gem of the Orb becomes partially opaque - much like viewing a reflection on water. Except that it's in real time, speaks, and isn't your reflection. The "sound" function is just that - like using a big, green, round telephone that's made of crystal! Yep.

Their next function is the "teleport" function - once you visit a realm, you can teleport there at any time, as long as they're within the same homeworld as you. For example, if you're in Summer Forest, you can only teleport to the Summer Forest realms that you've visited!

Their next function is their "super power" function. "Super Power"? Yep! In each homeworld you can "buy" a super power and store it in your orb - it activates the moment you buy it, only lasts the day its bought, and there must be finger/hoof/paw-to-orb contact for it to work!
In Summer Forest, you can put down 500 gems to get the "Spring" super power added to your orb, turning it into a bright gold color. Tap it once, and it'll send you high in the air! Using it, you can reach places much easier than usual.
You must get mod approval to buy a super power. Just PM the Guidebook account and ask, we don't bite!

Their last function only works in junction with the super power columns around the realm - Superflame, for example, is shot from the Orb when you use it. Superfly only works as long as you are holding your Orb.

All in all, your Orb is a very important artifact! Don't lose it - who knows what'll happen to you without it!
